When working with points, it is sometimes useful to quickly replicate or combine points. The Split Point tool allows you to create two points from one original point, similar to creating a new point by using the Create Point tool.

The Merge Points tool does the opposite: it takes two points and combines them into one. When two points are merged, the first point selected is deleted.
